SAP BASIS CONSULTANT WITH ECC

Remote, 1-year contract position.

About the role

You will lead a team of five SAP BASIS and security consultants, manage SEV calls, and conduct client discussions independently during EST business hours. The role requires ownership of all technical activities, ensuring tasks are tracked, managed, and driven to successful closure. You will provide solution guidance, engage with stakeholders on technical matters, and handle effort estimations, project planning, and prioritization of future work items. Proactive risk mitigation, dependency management, and timely, quality delivery of assigned tasks are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five SAP BASIS and security consultants.
• Manage SEV calls and client discussions independently during EST time.
• Own technical activities, ensuring tasks are tracked, managed, and completed successfully.
• Lead technical discussions and provide solution guidance to stakeholders.
• Handle effort estimations, project planning, and prioritization of future work items.
• Proactively mitigate risks and address dependencies to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Track and plan all incidents, requests, system upgrades, PGP/SSH keys, vulnerability remediation, system refreshes, and support activities.
• Manage SAP FIORI landscape for ECC 7.4 with Oracle database.
• Ensure security and audit compliance.

Requirements

• Strong exposure to SAP BASIS ECC 7.4 with Oracle database.
• Experience with Oracle Linux operating system.
• Proven customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts, roles, and authorizations.
• Experience setting up SAP Mobile Service on SAP Fiori Gateway.
