SAP BASIS CONSULTANT

About the role

This position requires a leader who can effectively manage SEV calls, lead client discussions independently during EST time, and drive technical activities to successful closure. The role involves solution guidance, stakeholder engagement, effort estimation, project planning, and prioritization of future work items while ensuring timely, quality delivery and proactive risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team effectively, taking ownership of technical activities and ensuring all tasks are tracked, managed, and driven to successful closure
• Lead technical discussions, provide solution guidance, and engage with stakeholders on technical matters
• Manage effort estimations, project planning, and prioritization of future work items
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of assigned tasks while proactively mitigating risks and addressing dependencies
• Drive execution through effective coordination, tracking progress, and maintaining accountability across the team
• Track and plan all incidents/request tasks, system upgrades, PGP and SSH keys, vulnerability remediation, system refresh, and support activities
• Manage SAP FIORI landscape ECC 7.4 with Oracle database
• Manage security and audit compliance

Requirements

• Strong exposure in SAP BASIS ECC 7.4 with Oracle database
• Operating system: Oracle Linux
• Ability to lead SAP BASIS and security team of 5 members
• Strong customer-facing experience
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts, roles, and authorizations (SAP GRC)
• Experience in SAP mobile Service setup on SAP Fiori Gateway
