Advise on technical approaches for all systems integrating with SAP and manage third-party dependencies related to the SAP environment. Design and manage SAP system landscapes in both operations and project scenarios. Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedules. Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testing. Demonstrate a deep understanding of SAP best practices for backup and recovery. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Implement, upgrade, and support the latest SAP system versions running on Windows/Linux operating systems and HANA, Sybase, Oracle, and SQL Server databases. Provide hands-on SAP BASIS administration. Provide leadership for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives. Demonstrate good knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP. Communicate project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and managers. Help manage Change Control, Issues, and Risks to ensure timely implementation of projects, including conducting risk assessments, identifying project roadblocks, and driving mitigations and solutions. Work with technical and non-technical teams, including Customer Support, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams, to efficiently and effectively resolve project issues and escalations. Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, processes, and best practices. RequirementsBachelor’s Degree plus 12+ years of professional experience. Strong SAP BASIS experience and understanding of SAP best practices. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. High standard for work ethic and quality. Experience working with highly technical teams. Clear understanding of business process requirements and cloud technical requirements for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to manage and shift priorities quickly and effectively when needed. Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues. Self-motivated and able to work under pressure while delivering high-quality results.
