SAP Advanced Intercompany Architect|| 100% Remote

About the role

The client is undergoing a large global digital transformation to SAP S/4HANA 2025 across three divisions, each spanning multiple countries. They need a senior S/4 Advanced Intercompany Architect who can own the end-to-end solution design and fit-gap analysis while remaining hands-on with configuration. This role works alongside the system integrator and wider functional teams, bridging business stakeholders, functional leads, and technical developers. Tax-specific expertise is not required; a separate tax team handles that domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design and fit-gap analysis for Advanced Intercompany in S/4HANA
• Perform hands-on configuration of Intercompany processes across SD, MM, and FI/CO integration points
• Design and validate Intercompany Sales, Procurement, and Stock Transport Order flows
• Configure and troubleshoot Intercompany billing, pricing, and settlement processes
• Implement transfer pricing, valuation, and Material Ledger within an Intercompany environment
• Own the solution architecture while collaborating with SI and cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot Intercompany transactions across multiple SAP modules
• Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical developers

Requirements

• Advanced Intercompany solution architect experience on SAP S/4HANA
• Deep, hands-on configuration expertise in S/4HANA Intercompany (not purely architectural)
• Strong experience across SAP SD and MM with solid understanding of FI/CO integration
• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end Intercompany processes: Intercompany Sales, Procurement, Stock Transport Orders
• Proven experience with Intercompany billing, pricing, and settlement
• Experience with transfer pricing, valuation, and Material Ledger in an Intercompany context
• Ability to own solution architecture/design while working alongside SI and functional teams
• Cross-functional troubleshooting skills across multiple SAP modules
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder, functional, and technical audiences

Location & Schedule

100% remote with occasional travel to New Jersey for key project milestones.

Duration

12+ month contract engagement.
