SAP ABAP Fiori Consultant (contract)

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a skilled SAP UI5/Fiori Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand new requirements, change requests, and enhancement needs.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform impact analysis for new developments and changes to existing systems.
• Develop custom SAP UI5/Fiori applications for MBUSA business processes, including VOISV and SWT (currently working on the VIPOR application).
• Create responsive and user-friendly UI screens using SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, XML Views, and SAPUI5 controls.
• Implement OData model binding, formatter logic, fragments, routing, and modular UI design patterns.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve defects raised through incidents and support tickets.
• Implement continuous enhancements and improvements for existing applications.
• Configure and maintain applications within the SAP Fiori Launchpad, including creating and managing catalogs, groups, tiles, and role assignments.
• Collaborate with SAP backend teams to troubleshoot OData service issues.
• Consume, test, and optimize OData services to improve performance and reliability.
• Manage code lifecycle activities using Git, including branching and merging.
• Deploy SAP UI5 applications to SAP systems and Git repositories from SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Manage transport requests for non-Git backend environments.
• Work closely with QA, Functional, Security, and BASIS teams to support successful releases.
• Provide post-go-live support and end-user guidance as required.

• Git and repository platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
• SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration (Catalogs, Groups, Tiles, and Roles)
• Debugging and troubleshooting using Chrome DevTools
• Basic understanding of ABAP and OData services for troubleshooting purposes

Pay

$47.34/hour - $73.96/hour
