SAP ABAP Developer @ Warren, MI // Austin, TX (ONSITE) - W2 Only

About the role

Location: Warren, MI or Austin, TX (onsite). Duration: 12+ months, W2 only. Open to candidates with any work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions, including enhancements, customizations, and integrations using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and other SAP technologies (CAP, HANA Cloud, etc.)
• System Implementation: participate in the full lifecycle of SAP projects, from requirement gathering and analysis to go-live and post-implementation support
• Collaboration: work closely with functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Methodology: adhere to Clean Core guiding principles, adapt cloud-based applications using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies, and embrace a cloud mindset
• Documentation: develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including RESTful programming, CDS, modern extensibility, etc.
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, or others
• Knowledge of BTP tools/services like SAP Build Work Zone, Business Application Studio, and Git
• Experience developing cloud-based applications on the SAP BTP platform
• Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments, including S/4HANA upgrades and ECC to S/4HANA upgrades with code remediation
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST)
