SAP A&D Functional Consultant – Production & Quality

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize manufacturing execution processes, including production order management, inventory movement, and integrated quality checkpoints.
• Oversee the final acceptance activities, ensuring meticulous inspection documentation, full component traceability, and adherence to rigorous customer sell-off protocols.
• Manage the critical handoff process from production completion to final shipping and billing execution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align SAP configuration with complex aerospace manufacturing standards and business requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of dedicated SAP experience is required; 10–15 years of experience is highly preferred.
• Industry Vertical: Strong hands-on experience within the SAP Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector.
• Core Modules: Deep knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and MM (Materials Management), with a specific focus on A&D extensions (e.g., Project Manufacturing, Pegging, and Distribution).
• Certifications: Not required; proven hands-on delivery and subject matter expertise are prioritized.
• Citizenship: US Citizenship is strictly required due to compliance and program regulations.

Work Schedule & Location

• Location: 100% Remote (Must align with Eastern Time Zone).
• Schedule: Compressed workweek consisting of four 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday). Enjoy every Friday off!
