About the role

Cérélia's newly established Frozen Breakfast Business Unit – US Waffle – is looking to expand its operations at its Hazelwood, MO facility. The Sanitation Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the plant remains clean and sanitized to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedule and coordinate with planner or previous shift to meet production schedule
  • Clean and sanitize processing equipment and facilities
  • Prevent cross-contamination during sanitation procedures
  • Follow all company Sanitation SOPs (SSOPs) for cleaning equipment and facilities
  • Complete required sanitation and SQF documentation
  • Maintain cleaning carts and tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor
  • Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods
  • Ensure compliance with company GMPs and Safety policies
  • Work safely with cleaning chemicals and follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary working environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Sanitation experience preferred
  • Able to follow instructions in English
  • Able to read, write, and speak English
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to follow GMPs, Food Safety, SSOPs per assignments
  • Able to use step ladder/ladder
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • Able to work 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays, with possible additional hours based on demand

Skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management skills
  • Understanding of cleaning chemicals and their handling procedures

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

3rd shift, with possible additional hours based on demand, including weekends and holidays.
