Sanitation Tech

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain the general appearance of the plant, ensuring cleanliness in areas such as platforms, steps & railings, equipment surfaces, walls & ledges, tunnel, spouts, while lines, break rooms, restrooms.
• Weekly walk through the front office to check restrooms for availability of paper products.
• Assist in floor scrubbing and pressure washing as needed.
• Observe plant employees to ensure compliance with sanitary and GMP practices and report any discrepancies to Plant Supervision or Plant Manager.
• Absorb and maintain proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal, and state rules and regulations, including but not limited to, right to know, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space, Bloodborne pathogens, and lockout/tagout.

Position Requirements

• High School or GED preferred.
• Zero to five years’ experience preferred.
• Perform tasks in areas where peanuts and related allergens are processed.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
