Responsibilities

  • Perform labor-intensive sanitation and housekeeping processes using specialized sanitation equipment in accordance with established sanitation schedules, safety procedures, and food safety regulations
  • Adhere to safe work practices, applicable government regulations, and company guidelines to maintain sanitary conditions, ensure product quality, and follow all lockout and tagout procedures
  • Perform basic maintenance and facility-support tasks inside and outside the facility, including shoveling snow, applying salt, painting handrails and pipes, and ordering supplies as needed
  • Conduct scheduled inspections of sanitation-related equipment, including steam and tempered water hoses, and report or address issues as required
  • Troubleshoot and clear unplugged jets and unclog drains to maintain proper sanitation system functionality
  • Remove and properly dispose of waste debris such as trash, paper, insulation, and chemical waste drums, following established procedures
  • Work safely with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, including correct use of required PPE and operation of sanitation equipment
  • Maintain overall site cleanliness by performing sanitation tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping production and non-production areas
  • Perform other sanitation or facilities-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sanitation, housekeeping, or facilities operations in a food manufacturing or industrial environment

This position does not include relocation reimbursement.
