Sanitation Operator

Responsibilities

• Facility cleaning (common areas, halls, and traffic areas, building exteriors, warehouse)
• Following a master sanitation schedule and documenting as required
• Cleaning of all Restrooms (production and office restrooms), keeping supplies stocked
• Cleaning of all Break rooms, stocking supplies as required
• Cleaning of QC/R&D Labs, and office areas
• Maintaining ground free of trash, debris & dirt
• Removal of cobwebs, insects etc. throughout facility
• Maintaining housekeeping and sanitation of areas according to company GMPs and SOPs
• Maintain required documentation
• Maintenance requirements (change light bulbs, AC filter change, vent cleaning, etc.) as scheduled on sanitation schedule
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation experience preferred
• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, and buckets
• Ability to read procedures and safety information in English
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor
• Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to extreme heat and cold temperatures and sometimes wet conditions
