Schedule

Sunday – Wednesday, 7 am – 5 pm (flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed).

Compensation

$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliance, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in formulating and administering short‑ and long‑range goals and objectives for business growth.
• Comply with KanPak policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all applicable state and federal laws to ensure food safety and food defense.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and prepare for state, federal, and customer inspections.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to remove all product remnants from machines and surrounding areas.
• Clean and sanitize walls, shelves, racks, conveyor belts, floors, and all other equipment and machinery in production rooms.
• Handle products properly, operate equipment, maintain accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food‑safety guidelines.
• Communicate potential issues, concerns, or risks to the supervisor for resolution.
• Work daily with chemicals while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform related duties as required, including any tasks within the general occupational series and responsibility level of the classification.

Employment Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Ability to spend the majority of time on feet, including prolonged standing, walking, repetitive hand and arm movements, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• Capable of moving and lifting an average of 10‑20 lb, with a maximum lift of over 50 lb.
• Potential exposure to various allergens.
• Work performed indoors near hot equipment; safe handling of cleaning equipment, supplies, chemicals, and hand tools required.
• Must work at elevated heights and operate motorized equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or scissor lifts (training provided).
