SANITATION/ CLEAN-UP - 3rd SHIFT
About the role
This position will consist of cleaning and sanitizing the plant to maintain conformance to USDA standards within a schedule to ensure maximum operating time.
Responsibilities
- Clean/wash down and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.
- Follow sanitation procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), USDA and FDA regulations for all sanitation tasks.
- Set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Comply with and understand company policies and standards.
- Support and follow all Food Safety and Plant Safety policies, practices and protocols.
Requirements
- Previous Sanitation experience is preferred, but not required.
- Previous knowledge and technical skills in sanitation, meat processing jobs and chemicals is preferred.
- Good communication skills and able to follow directions.

- Self-motivated and punctual.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment/stay on task.
- Detail oriented & focused
- Must be at least 18yrs of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications

Pay
$20.10/hr + $2.00 Shift Differential (Starting out)
Estimated annual salary: $46,000+
Schedule
Estimated Schedule: (may vary day to day)
Monday PM – 10:30pm – 6:30am
Tuesday PM – 10:30pm – 6:30am
Wednesday PM – 10:30pm – 6:30am
Thursday PM – 10:30pm – 6:30am
Friday PM – 10:30pm – 6:30am
Saturday PM (as needed) – 10:30pm – 6:30am
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
- Slippery floors, damp/wet environment, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks & high pressure hoses.
- Safely handling and being exposed to chemicals.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50# unassisted.
