About the role

Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the division building and related property. As part of the US Foods® team, you will help maintain a clean and safe work environment that supports the company’s success.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean the entire warehouse to maintain required cleanliness levels.
• Empty trash bins and clean trash areas daily; operate trash compactor when applicable.
• Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on a rotating basis.
• Clean up spills or breakages of inventoried product; assess damage and determine if resalable or must be disposed per government and U.S. Foodservice food‑safety requirements.
• Perform light maintenance duties as assigned (e.g., replace light bulbs, collect recyclable materials, paper and shrink wrap pickup, check freezers and coolers for leaks or ice buildup).
• Prepare reports and forms to document cleaning schedules, spillages, product damage, etc.
• May track and order maintenance supplies.
• May clean other warehouse and office areas, including break rooms, rest rooms, test kitchens, and offices.
• Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas.
• Operate scrubber, pallet jack, and high lift as required to perform duties.

Requirements

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial and/or sanitation experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to follow safety and food‑sanitation procedures.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, pallet jacks, and high lifts.
• Basic record‑keeping and report preparation.
• Reliability, integrity, and ability to build trusting relationships with team members.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $21.50 – $23.50 per hour, with a starting rate of $23.50/hour.

Schedule

Night shift, Sunday – Thursday, with a 5:30 pm start time.
