About the role

This position is responsible for cleaning the buildings to McLane Company standards, and maintaining the grounds at the Division. Specific duties will be determined by the shift worked.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in the Office, Break Room, DC, and Transportation Building areas.
• Vacuum/Mop, empty trash, copy room, and bathrooms in the Office.
• Wash windows, floors, pick up trash, clean sink and cook areas, replenish supplies and maintain bathrooms in the Break Rooms, entrance and locker area.
• Clean floors, trash, dock plates, and pallets in the DC.
• Clean Office, break room and bathrooms in the Transportation Building.
• Pick up trash and maintain walkways in Division Grounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Have previous Sanitation/Janitorial experience preferred.
• Able to use cleaning products, electric floor cleaner, and vacuum cleaner.
• Able to follow direction and work independently.
• Able to be trained /certified on pallet jack within 30 days after hire.
• Able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for period of two hours or more.

• Minimum qualifications and requirements are as follows:

• Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times.

Skills

• Ability to use cleaning products, electric floor cleaner, and vacuum cleaner.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently.

• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Pay

Pay rate: $19.50 per hour.

Schedule

Hours: 3:00am-11:30am/6:00am-2:30pm
