Sanitation Associate (Weekend Shift)

Essential Functions

• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company and regulatory authorities.
• Performs routine and non-routine cleaning duties throughout the building to include all surfaces inside and outside of the distribution center.
• Removes trash, cardboard, debris and pallets.
• Will perform cleaning activities that require the use of ladders, powered equipment at high levels.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs to building and/or equipment.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Must be willing to move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Maintains building 5S boards.
• Requisitions and replenishes supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and sanitization duties.
• Operates floor scrubbing equipment, cardboard baler and maintains all stations containing janitorial equipment.
• Must have stock picker experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
