Sanitation Associate- 3rd Shift

About the Role

At PS Seasoning, we're seeking a self-motivated and reliable employee to join our sanitation team, reporting to the Food Safety Manager. This position supports our production facility with daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our team and products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production and warehouse facilities, including equipment and work areas
• Mix cleaning solutions and use hand tools for cleaning tasks
• Clean up work areas, trash, products, bags, and boxes
• Perform basic janitorial services, including sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and stocking restrooms
• Complete daily paperwork accurately
• Operate forklift and skid loader to assist with duties
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and other quality and safety programs
• Work a flexible schedule, including additional hours on weekends if required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the food safety and quality supervisor

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, bend, stand, and climb
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use hand cleaning tools (mops, brooms, brushes) and power cleaning tools (vacuums, floor scrubbers)
• Ability to follow instructions and properly use cleaning chemicals and agents
• Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment
