Sanitation Associate - 1st Shift 6am- 2pm

About the Role

PS Seasoning is a four‑generation company dedicated to flavor and excellence. The sanitation team member reports to the Food Safety Manager and supports the production facility by maintaining clean and safe environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the production and warehouse facility.
• Clean equipment and work areas, mixing cleaning solutions and using hand tools.
• Clean up work areas and trash, including products, bags, and boxes.
• Clean office areas, sweep, mop, and remove garbage at both office locations.
• Perform basic janitorial services such as picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking restrooms as required.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Operate forklift and skid loader to assist with duties.
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and other quality and safety programs.
• Work a flexible schedule; additional hours may be required on weekends.
• Other duties as assigned by the food safety and quality supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb., bend, stand, and climb.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes.
• Proficiency with power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to follow written instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly.
• Willingness to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday – Saturday, 8‑hour days.
