Sanitation and Groundskeeper

About the role

Works under the supervision of the Facilities Director. Responsible for the maintenance of the grounds, sanitation, and trash collection at Eliada Homes, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns and perform general upkeep of the grounds.
• Pick up limbs, trash, and other debris on a daily basis.
• Prune and trim hedges.
• Perform daily trash collection across Eliada’s programs.
• Scrape and de-ice roads and walks during winter.
• Maintain cleanliness of gutters.
• Maintain and service all equipment.
• Mulch flowerbeds as needed.
• Maintain all fence lines.
• Perform other jobs as assigned by the Facilities Director.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Some experience in maintenance of grounds and/or sanitation preferred.
• Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license and be insurable by Eliada insurance carriers.
• Position may require frequent local travel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
