Sandblaster - 1st Shift

Job Type: Full-time

Description

• Operation of mechanical sandblast equipment to remove ceramic, sand, scale, etc., from castings to obtain the desired finish.
• Position castings on table in proper position for such cleaning.
• Operate the sandblast nozzle to complete the specified cleaning operation.
• Reposition castings, change nozzle and/or hose, fill hopper with proper materials, and adjust air and abrasive mixture as required.

Requirements

• Prior experience removing excess materials with sandblaster, but willing to train.
• Strong prioritizing and planning skills and ability to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
