San Francisco - Corporate & Business Transactions - Life Sciences - 2027 Entry-Level Associate
About the role
Morgan Lewis seeks to hire a rising third year law student (2027 JD) as a Fall 2027 entry-level associate in our corporate & business transactions group, resident in our San Francisco office. This position is specifically within our life sciences transactions practice area.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements
- Provide legal research and analysis on a variety of corporate matters
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies
- Contribute to the development and review of legal documents
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong organization, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience or demonstrated interest in life sciences is strongly preferred
- Eligible to take the bar exam, or currently barred, in resident jurisdiction
Qualifications
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of California
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
