About the role
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across multiple industries to ensure product safety, authenticity, and accurate labeling. The role supports laboratory operations by interpreting client sample requirements, managing project data, and coordinating sample logistics.
Responsibilities
- Interpret client sample requirements and enter data into the computer system while adhering to technical center standards
- Manage large client projects and serve as the liaison between project managers and Sample Registration
- Deliver rush samples to appropriate technical centers
- Maintain client files containing quotes, purchase orders, bottle orders, and incoming sample activity records
- Handle incoming informational calls for the department
- Read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures; comply with all safety precautions
- Unpack sample kits and coolers received at the lab
- Provide training assistance to new and current employees within the department
- Assist as needed with labeling samples, filing paperwork, and other departmental tasks
- Conduct all activities safely and efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Computer skills, including data entry
- Professional working proficiency in English (ability to read, write, and speak)
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related laboratory experience (ideal)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capacity to stay productive during high volumes of incoming samples
- Ability to retain large amounts of information
Schedule
- Full-time: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Training schedule: Monday – Friday, first shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay
$17.75 per hour. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, skill set, internal peer salaries, business sector, and geographic location.
