Sample Manufacturing Associate - Temporary, Part-Time

About the role

Phillip Jeffries is a global luxury brand specializing in wallcoverings, founded in 1976. The company is seeking a Temporary Sample Manufacturing Associate to work part‑time (20 hours per week), Monday through Friday, at its Fairfield, NJ headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all necessary equipment.
• Manually glue Phillip Jeffries samples and meet the daily production metric.
• Count, label, and inventory supplies and headers; ensure all material is stored properly in designated areas.
• Verify sample stock accuracy and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist the Sample Manufacturing Assistant Manager with various tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize tasks.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Respectful and courteous demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Excellent time management and follow‑up skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills; experience with WMS systems is a plus.
• High integrity.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 50–100 pounds.

Compensation

This is a three‑month temporary, part‑time position offering a pay rate of $19.25 per hour.
