Sample Manufacturing Associate (shift: 6am-2:30pm)

About the role

Phillip Jeffries is a global leader in luxury wallcoverings, dedicated to making the world more beautiful. This role is available at our Fairfield, NJ location, with a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Manually glue Phillip Jeffries samples, meeting daily production metrics
• Select master samples based on daily picking lists and provide them to machine operators
• Refile master samples accurately at the end of each shift and upon completion of sample runs
• Receive incoming product and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Become cross-trained on the guillotine and other equipment as needed
• Absorb sample gluing and related production tasks
• Maintain and clean all necessary equipment
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
• Support the Sample Manufacturing Assistant Manager with additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Good attendance & punctuality
• Respectful and courteous
• Strong attention to detail and follows through skills
• Excellent time management and follow up skills
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills
• Possess high integrity
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds

Pay

Hourly rate starting at $19.25 an hour, based on your experience and technical expertise. Annual bonus opportunity to reward your performance. Cost of Living increases that honor your growth and commitment. Generous retirement plan with an automatic company contribution of approximately 10 percent with no employee match required.
