Sample Management Supervisor - Night Shift

Responsibilities
The role involves verification of sample submissions to Quality Control, documentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), handling, storage, and organization of samples, delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as required, interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups, fulfilling sample pull requests, compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements, conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring, preparation of samples for shipment, performing sample inventory and disposal, and ensuring compliance with SOPs.

- Compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
- Conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring
- Preparation of samples for shipment
- Performing sample inventory and disposal
- Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system
Leadership responsibilities include leading a team of Sample Management Specialists in a regulated facility, coordinating, supporting, and monitoring performance of team through quality metrics while ensuring client deadlines are met, coordinating with client contacts to communicate status of deliverables, determining priorities, and setting timelines.
Qualifications
Basic minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related degree, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask, a keen eye for detail, strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, and excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail. Knowledge of cGMP is a plus. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required.

Pay and Schedule
Pay is between $26-32/hr and determined based on experience. The role is 3rd Shift 10pm-8:30am Sun-Wed, with a 15% shift differential for 3rd shift schedule.
