Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials and essential oils according to formulas and batch sheets.
- Operate and clean mixing tanks, scales, pumps, and other production equipment while following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow all company safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in monitoring raw material stock levels and notify supervisors of any shortages or issues.
- Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in the fragrance compounding process.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in sample lab compounding within fragrance or flavor manufacturing.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, weighing, and blending raw materials.
- Ability to follow written formulas and instructions precisely.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Skills
- Understand the order of addition for certain raw materials and the reasons behind it.
- Ability to distinguish fragrance notes.
Pay
$25 - $31 / hour
