About the role

The Sample Control Technician will be responsible for receiving and cataloging customer-supplied samples for analysis, storing samples prior to/post-analysis until scheduled disposal per customer requirements and maintaining inventory, generating chain of custody forms when required for regulated projects, returning samples to customers post-analysis by request, packaging and direct shipping analysis samples for out-source services, maintaining chemical inventory, assisting with ordering lab supplies and office supplies, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), and other duties as assigned or required. This position requires working comfortably in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines and collaborating effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with database entry.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Health & Safety.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
