SALT Tax Compliance Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversight and supervision of multiple tax engagements
• Response to tax authority notices and effective client representation
• Conducting research on complex tax matters and clear communication of findings
• Identification and pursuit of new business development opportunities
• Exemplification of leadership qualities within the firm
• Development of team members in technical and project management areas
• Provision of constructive feedback to partners

Qualifications

• 10+ years of state income tax compliance experience managing a focused team
• In-depth knowledge of state tax concepts such as Nexus and combined reporting
• Experience delivering complex multistate returns
• Proficiency in state tax technology, including CCH Axcess
• Strong data analysis skills with Excel
• Demonstrated management and organizational capabilities
• Professional demeanor with strong client-facing skills

Pay

$155,000 – $190,000 annually
