Saloon Bartender

Responsibilities

• Create, mix, and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Engage guests with genuine hospitality while taking and preparing drink orders quickly and accurately.
• Maintain expert knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and THE RANCH signature beverage offerings.
• Recommend beverages and upsell specialty cocktails, top-shelf liquors, and craft beers.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and proactive service, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly.
• Collaborate with bussers, servers, and management to ensure smooth and efficient bar operations.
• Monitor alcohol consumption of guests and practice responsible service in accordance with ABC regulations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar; uphold sanitation standards and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation
• Familiarity with Aloha point-of-sale (POS) system
• Must possess a valid California Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
• Flexible availability: must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to reliably commute to and from work
• Strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, and country music culture is a big plus

Pay

Pay Rate: $16.90 per hour + tips
