Responsibilities
- Create, mix, and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage guests with genuine hospitality while taking and preparing drink orders quickly and accurately.
- Maintain expert knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and THE RANCH signature beverage offerings.
- Recommend beverages and upsell specialty cocktails, top-shelf liquors, and craft beers.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and proactive service, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly.
- Collaborate with bussers, servers, and management to ensure smooth and efficient bar operations.
- Monitor alcohol consumption of guests and practice responsible service in accordance with ABC regulations.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar; uphold sanitation standards and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist in setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation
- Familiarity with Aloha point-of-sale (POS) system
- Must possess a valid California Food Handler's Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
- Flexible availability: must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to reliably commute to and from work
- Strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for hospitality, teamwork, and country music culture is a big plus
Pay
Pay Rate: $16.90 per hour + tips
