SalonCentric Canada - Store Associate - Barrie (FT)

Salon Centric is the premier national distributor of salon professional products in the U.S., now expanding in Canada with locations in Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec. This is a full-time Store Associate position requiring a minimum average of 30 hours per week, including weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries.
• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and maintain in-stock, presentable assigned areas.
• Actively seek out customers in-store and remain knowledgeable on products offered.
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases, cross-sell products, and handle returns of merchandise.
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service and build productive trust relationships with customers.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.

Requirements

• 2 years of sales experience.
• Excellent communication and strong organization and time management capabilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A team-player attitude with the ability to learn quickly and maintain a high-level of product knowledge.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Industry experience is a definite asset.
