As a Salon Leader, you’ll have the opportunity to increase your earnings through walk-in customers, tips, and commissions. Your bi-weekly earnings will be paid as straight commissions or an hourly rate, whichever is higher. You may also increase your commission percentage quarterly based on productivity, and earn referral bonuses for bringing in new team members.

Responsibilities

• Recruit top talent, including interviewing and hiring, to meet salon staffing needs
• Evaluate team member performance and document individual goals
• Model quality services by consulting with clients and applying appropriate techniques
• Recommend and participate in local marketing initiatives, including coupon campaigns and client appreciation events
• Educate clients and team members on proper home hair care and recommend products/services
• Model customer service best practices to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
• Provide customized consultations, including stating the final price before service begins
• Complete administrative tasks (e.g., POS ticket closure, timecards, inventory, on-boarding, scheduling)
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, leadership, and corporate support
• Meet or exceed personal and salon productivity standards
• Protect salon assets by enforcing cash handling procedures
• Lead, train, and model all services offered at the salon
• Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts, including nights and weekends
• Attend required technical training sessions and meetings
• Enforce and model Regis policies, including salon cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barber’s license (required)
• Three years of experience as a Stylist (preferred)
• One year of experience in a salon leadership role (preferred)
• Completion of assigned training as determined by Regis
• All Supercuts Salon Leaders must have a Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) completion certificate
