Responsibilities
- Drive a culture of kindness, caring, inclusion and respect in our salons
- Grow into a successful salon leader through Great Clips' MIT Management Training Development Program
- Offer health, dental, and vision insurance, AFLAC, 401k, and more
- Maintain and manage day-to-day salon operations
- Split time between salon management responsibilities and providing services to customers
- Lead the team and provide haircuts as needed
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
- Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations
- Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
- A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications
To join a Great Clips salon team as a Salon Manager, you’ll need:
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
