Responsibilities

  • Drive a culture of kindness, caring, inclusion and respect in our salons
  • Grow into a successful salon leader through Great Clips' MIT Management Training Development Program
  • Offer health, dental, and vision insurance, AFLAC, 401k, and more
  • Maintain and manage day-to-day salon operations
  • Split time between salon management responsibilities and providing services to customers
  • Lead the team and provide haircuts as needed

Requirements

  • A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
  • Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
  • Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations
  • Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
  • A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on team performance and customer experience
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Qualifications

To join a Great Clips salon team as a Salon Manager, you’ll need:

  • A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
