Salesperson/Store Driver Store 6001
About the role
We have two entry-level positions available: Salesperson and Store Driver. The Salesperson role supports the DIY business and achieves sales and service objectives, while the Store Driver role delivers parts to commercial customers and assists with task and inventory processes in the store. Both positions can be part-time or full-time.
Responsibilities
As a Salesperson, primary responsibilities include providing excellent selling experiences, achieving personal sales goals, and maintaining store product and operational standards. Secondary responsibilities include store cleanliness and general stocking. As a Store Driver, primary responsibilities include safely delivering parts to customers, picking and staging parts for customer orders, and picking up returns and cores. Secondary responsibilities include store cleanliness and general stocking.

Qualifications
Prior experience that sets a Salesperson up for success includes 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment. For a Store Driver, automotive parts experience is preferred. Certificates, licenses, and registrations required include a valid driver's license and fleet safety certification.
Skills
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands of this job include walking or standing, talking and hearing, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The work environment includes working inside and occasionally outside, with exposure to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.
