About the Role
Entry-level positions supporting our DIY business and sales objectives. Roles include:
- Salesperson: Good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and part knowledge. Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Can be part-time or full-time; fleet safety certification preferred.
- Store Driver: Supports delivery of parts to commercial customers and assists with task and inventory processes in the store. Must be fleet safety certified. Can be part-time or full-time.
Responsibilities
Salesperson
- Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
- Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales goals.
- Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
- Maintain store product and operational standards.
- Responsible for inventory processes including truck put-away, shoot-outs, cycle counts, and back stock.
Secondary Responsibilities (Salesperson & Driver)
- Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
- General stocking including truck stocking and back stock.
Store Driver
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
- Pick up returns and cores.
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
- Daily collection of credit accounts.
Success Factors

Qualifications
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Salesperson: 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
- Store Driver: Automotive parts experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be fleet safety certified (required for Driver role; preferred for Salesperson).

Pay
The good faith estimate for this role is between $16.40 USD and $17.75 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and shift differential (if applicable).
