Inside the Role
SelecTrucks of America is seeking a salesperson to create new and maintain existing customers. The Inside Sales Representative will handle incoming inquiries and walk-in customers at the SelecTruck of Tampa location. Responsibilities include demonstrating and selling previously owned Freightliner and other brand commercial trucks, along with extended warranties, to customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Duties also involve maintaining online inventory and marketing it to potential customers.
- Prospecting by phone, making appointments, and handling inquiries and customer visits.
- Keeping in contact with customers throughout the sales process and following up after the sale.
- Maintaining a database of prospects and customers.

Pay Offered
The position offers a starting base salary range of $58,656.00 plus commission, dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
Supports the establishment, development, and maintenance of business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for SelecTrucks Center's products/programs. Makes telephone calls and contacts existing and prospective customers. Works with management to resolve customer problems and complaints. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and utilizing the company customer relationship management tool. Achieves sales goals through sales skills, sales process, and time management.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Excellent Customer Experience Management skills
- Use of MS Office suite
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Organized and Self-Motivated
- Attain Class B CDL within first 180 days of employment
Exceptional Candidates Might Have:
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Previous sales experience preferred
- 5-7 years of transportation experience preferred
- Customer mining experience preferred
- Previous advertising or marketing experience preferred
- Ability to negotiate in a multicultural business environment
