Salesforce Support Associate

About the role

The Salesforce Support Associate role is an entry-level position designed for individuals passionate about learning how to optimize Salesforce SaaS technology systems. This role provides hands-on experience in user support, data stewardship, system maintenance, and custom reporting, with the potential to advance to a Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Responsibilities

• User Support: Provide initial support for user inquiries, password resets, and navigation assistance.
• Data Stewardship: Conduct regular data audits, perform de-duplication tasks, and manage mass uploads using Data Loader or similar tools.
• System Maintenance: Assist in creating Jira requirements, updating fields, page layouts, and picklists based on evolving business needs.
• Custom Reporting Requests: Build and maintain basic and custom reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs.
• Learn and Master Salesforce Data Integrity: Understand and implement summary formulas.
• SOP Documentation: Maintain and update internal processes, training materials, and system changes.
• Data Library/Data Dictionary Maintenance: Audit descriptions, update mappings, and ensure standardization across different objects.
• Version Control: Ensure the team uses the latest data upload templates.
• Gap Identification: Notice and document new features and their impacts.
• Agentforce Maintenance: Tag knowledge articles, audit prompt templates, and map fields for AI.
• UAT Testing: Assist in testing new features or integrations before they go live.
• Ongoing Sales Training & Enablement: Create or update internal training materials and quizzes.

• A solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, including Objects, Relationships, and Fields.

• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users with patience and clarity.
• Passing the Salesforce Certified Associate Certificate within 3-5 months.
• Passing the Salesforce Certified Administrator certification within 6-9 months (preferred).

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience, with a focus on hands-on project work, Trailhead badges, or internships.
• Systems: Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM is preferred.

• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally, sit at a desk for extended periods, and travel between local Cambria locations.
• Travel Requirements: May be required to travel between local Cambria locations.

Pay & Benefits

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00.
