Salesforce Release Technician

About the role

Under general supervision, serves as the Salesforce Release Technician for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), performing professional work of an intermediate level of difficulty in Application Services. This includes carrying out assigned release and change coordination activities for Salesforce development teams.

Provides support and problem resolution assistance for moderately difficult issues, referring complex problems to higher-level professionals. Serves as a project team member performing assigned project tasks within established deadlines to meet project deliverables, including assisting the project lead in preparing and updating project schedules and validation activities.

Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.

Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Requirements

• Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college with coursework in computer science or directly related fields.
• One (1) year of Application Services or related Information Technology experience.
