Location: Remote (U.S.) Other Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust LTS is seeking a Salesforce Platform Architect with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices, as well as extensive experience in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations, to support a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives. The candidate will support the Salesforce Center of Excellence as part of the new U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) OMEGA Contract. What You'll Do Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with VA OMEGA program requirementsLead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiativesDefine and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policiesEvaluate and recommend integration patterns and middleware solutionsOversee data modeling, security architecture, and platform performance optimizationMentor and provide technical leadership to development teamsCommunicate architectural decisions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWork effectively and efficiently in a remote work environment What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and implementationExtensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilitiesStrong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIsExperience with data modeling, integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoftFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CodeScan, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in Salesforce environmentsLead rigorous code reviews and PR evaluations to enforce high standards of system architecture, security, and performanceExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutionsStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication skills Nice To Have Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System ArchitectExperience in large-scale enterprise implementations of Salesforce. Knowledge of AI/ML capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystemExperience with Agile methodologies and project management tools What’s in it for you?
