Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email ProducerLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Contract, 6 monthsCompensation: Approximately $45/hour Position SummaryWe are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Producer to support the production, management, quality assurance and deployment of customer-facing email and SMS campaigns. This role is focused specifically on email production and marketing automation execution, with an emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Email Studio, HTML email coding, AMPscript knowledge, email best practices and compliance with commercial spam and data privacy requirements.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and deploying responsive, personalized and dynamic email communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This person will work closely with marketers, copy editors, designers, data analysts and marketing automation team members to ensure campaigns are accurate, timely, brand compliant and legally compliant. Key ResponsibilitiesManage assigned email and SMS projects through coding, editing, proofing, quality assurance and deployment.Produce and deploy email and SMS communications while meeting aggressive deadlines.Hand-code HTML emails from text documents and provided creative assets.Transform text-based content and images into responsive, personalized and dynamic email communications.Securely manage, prepare and upload contact lists.Assist with email templates, automations, quality control and dynamic campaign setup as needed.Follow internal email marketing processes to ensure communications meet brand, quality and legal standards.Support documentation of email production processes as needed.Analyze campaign performance and recommend email best practices, A/B testing opportunities and emerging trends.Generate and communicate reporting insights using marketing automation and web analytics tools.Collaborate cross-functionally to keep campaigns moving through tight timelines. Required QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience coding HTML emails, handling contact lists and deploying communications through an email service provider.Recent Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience strongly preferred.Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio.Knowledge of AMPscript within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.Experience producing responsive HTML emails.Strong understanding of email best practices, CAN-SPAM and email and SMS data privacy laws.Experience with A/B testing and email/SMS campaign performance reporting.Ability to analyze campaign results and highlight key performance indicators.Strong organizational, time-management and project-management skills.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to quickly learn and accurately execute company-specific email production processes.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with data extensions, automations, journeys, filters and triggers in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification.Some SQL knowledge.Working knowledge of CloudPages and JavaScript. Ideal ProfileThe strongest candidates will have dedicated email production experience as their primary responsibility, rather than a broader marketing role with occasional email tasks.
