Salesforce Implementation and Integration Lead, Ford Energy

Responsibilities

• Cook up business alignment with Sales and Service leaders to turn customer journeys and operational workflows into scalable Salesforce requirements.
• Take charge of coordinating external System Integrator (SI) teams, making sure their deliverables meet Ford's standards for quality, timeline, and security.
• Turn IT policies and operational procedures into action for the Ford Energy Salesforce team, setting performance standards and managing project budgets.
• Collaborate with ERP IT leads to design and implement robust integrations for critical data flows, acting as the go-to advisor for senior IT leadership on integration roadmaps and capabilities.
• Define and oversee API strategies, data synchronization rules, and integration patterns using enterprise middleware.
• Enforce Salesforce best practices, prioritizing out-of-the-box configuration over custom code to minimize technical debt.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate fundamental technical and architectural risks across the platform.
• Oversee environment management, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and end-to-end integration across Salesforce and connected systems.
• Anticipate operational and delivery bottlenecks, developing preventative measures and system rollback strategies to ensure zero disruption to core Sales and Service operations.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• IT Delivery Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT delivery, with a strong focus on enterprise software implementations and systems integration.
• Salesforce Leadership: 3+ years of hands-on experience leading Salesforce implementations.
• SI Coordination: Proven track record of managing and coordinating external System Integrator (SI) teams.
• Integration Design: Extensive experience designing and coordinating Salesforce-to-ERP integrations.

Location & Travel

Location: Dearborn, MI. This position is hybrid-friendly for candidates with a proven ability to deliver results in a flexible environment. Travel expectations: Occasional travel may be required to support system deployments or vendor onsite sessions.
