Responsibilities
- Expertise and experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including configuration of the FSC Platform.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
- Lead technical design sessions, architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, and identify gaps between current and desired end states.
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation.
- Manage technical scopes and client expectations, demonstrating technical thought leadership.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and appropriate design patterns.
- Provide oversight and governance of all sold and managed Salesforce projects.
- Drive business development by providing subject matter expertise, tools, and detailed estimates for engagements.
- Coach and mentor junior technical resources, owning their ongoing technical development.
- Interview potential candidates and serve as a mentor/lead and people manager within the team.
- Ability to travel 20%.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Consulting or Industry experience (Banking, Financial Services).
- Experience and expertise with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including configuration of the FSC Platform.
- Minimum 3 years of Salesforce platform experience (5+ years preferred).
- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate them across disparate systems.
- Expert understanding of multiple facets of the Salesforce product suite (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Platform, App Exchange, etc.).
- Configuration experience using the Salesforce point-and-click developer interface.
- Awareness of programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform (Apex, VisualForce).
- Understanding of Salesforce data loader for data migration activities.
- Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle.
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies (Scrum).
- Deep functional and technical understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and other Cloud Computing Services.
- Knowledge of integration architecture and third-party integration tools (Mulesoft, Informatica, Jitterbit, etc.).
- Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.

Pay
Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, targeted base pay salary ranges are as follows:
- East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley: Principal: $184,000-$225,000 | Senior Principal: $212,000-$258,000
- San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester: Principal: $169,000–$206,000 | Senior Principal: $194,000–$237,000
- All other locations: Principal: $155,000-$189,000 | Senior Principal: $178,000-$217,000
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
