Responsibilities

  • Expertise and experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) including configuration of the FSC Platform
  • Expert level understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite, such as Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and App Clouds
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce.com platform
  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce.com implementation
  • Manage technical scopes and client expectations
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership
  • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
  • Provides oversight and governance of all sold and managed Salesforce.com projects
  • Drives business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements and provide detailed estimates within the offering
  • Coach and mentor junior technical resources; own responsibility for ongoing technical development of technical resources on Salesforce projects
  • Interview potential candidates
  • Serve as a mentor/lead and people manager within the team
  • Ability to travel 20%
  • Demonstrate strong ability to translate AI capabilities into business value, drive adoption, and ensure alignment with strategy, operations, and regulatory requirements
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Enterprise ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate development of business deliverables such as requirements, process models, user stories, and test scenarios
  • Demonstrate experience supporting or delivering AI-enabled features within Business Planning and enterprise solutions
  • Apply AI to enhance analysis, decision-making, and stakeholder insights
  • Guide clients in translating AI strategy into practical, scalable, and compliant business solutions
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to embed AI into business processes to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful AI adoption
  • Ensure AI initiatives align with regulatory requirements in life sciences (e.g., GxP, SaMD, validated systems)
  • Promote responsible AI practices, including ethical use, transparency, and data governance
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and practices across business and delivery teams
  • Support sales and delivery efforts through AI-informed solutioning, proposals, and value articulation
  • Enable team utilization by aligning skills, demand, and delivery opportunities
  • Expand personal and organizational brand through thought leadership, AI-enabled transformation, and innovation
  • Contribute to industry discussions through articles, publications, and participation in events

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Consulting or Industry (Banking, Financial Services) experience
  • Experience and expertise with Financial Services Cloud (FSC), including configuration of the FSC Platform
  • Minimum 3 years of Salesforce platform experience
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Expert understanding of multiple facets of the Salesforce.com product suite, such as Salesforce 1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Platform and the App Exchange
  • Configuration experience using the Salesforce.com point-and-click developer interface
  • Awareness of programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform including Apex and VisualForce
  • Understanding of the Salesforce.com data loader for data migration activities in Salesforce.com
  • Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
  • Deep functional and technical understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and other Cloud Computing Services
  • Knowledge of integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools and ETL (Such as Mulesoft, Informatica, Jitterbit etc.) with Salesforce.com
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

Pay

The targeted base salary pay range for a Consultant is:

  • East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley: $126,000–$154,000
  • San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester: $115,000–$141,000
  • All other locations: $106,000–$129,000

In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
