Salesforce Developer (Fundraising) The Salesforce Developer- Fundraising will serve as the Senior Salesforce expert for the team managing Salesforce NPSP for the Office of Development at NewYork-Presbyterian. In this role, the Developer will lead the design and execution of the team’s development strategy in close partnership with the Product Owner. The role requires a hands‑on mindset and spans work across administration, development, mentorship and day‑to‑day operational support. ResponsibilitiesManage the full development lifecycle for the org, ensuring solutions are secure, optimized for performance, and built to scaleBuild and maintain solutions of diverse complexity with a declarative first mindsetLead solution reviews to assess features built by the team and provide feedbackMentor junior team membersArticulate design considerations, trade-offs and benefits to the team while planning new solutionsReview Salesforces' 3x releases and ad-hoc product notifications and prepare the org for complianceAdvise on and contribute to DevOps processes in Copado and AzureEvaluate new integrations and install and maintain managed packagesWork with the team to troubleshoot issues Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. No relocation assistance is available. Preferred CriteriaBachelor's Degree with a major in Computer Science or related disciplineCertification: Platform Developer IINonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud experienceExperience leading/mentoring junior Administrators and Developers Required Criteria6-8 years of work experience on the Salesforce platformCertifications: Platform Developer, Platform Administrator II, Platform AdministrationStrong communication, collaboration and documentation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience designing and developing complex Salesforce solutions, preferably within NPSPExperience designing and developing complex and secure features using: Flows, Apex, SOQL / SOSL, Visualforce and Lightning Web ComponentsExperience using DevOps platforms such as Copado or GearsetExperience working as part of an Agile Scrum teamAbility to convert business needs into technical requirementsExperience working with internal ETL and Integration teams to deliver solutions and troubleshoot issuesExperience installing and managing third party integrations with Salesforce
