About the role

The Salesforce Developer plays a crucial role at Flow Control Group. We are seeking a self-motivated developer who can enhance our Salesforce platform and ensure that our business objectives and processes are accurately implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce full lifecycle implementation experience using SDLC practices, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • Object-oriented programming experience: Java or C# preferred.
  • Significant work in Apex classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, UI technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Manage application phases of system implementation (configuration, customization, integration, data migration).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and considerations (security, scalability, limits).
  • Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems used in the organization using Salesforce APIs.
  • Maintain code documentation and write/test classes for all custom development.
  • Integrate and maintain business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Conga, Youreka, Survey Gizmo.
  • Work within the IT team and report to the IT Salesforce Platform Manager.

Qualifications and Background Required

  • At least 3 - 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java.
  • Able to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and other Salesforce team members.
  • Able to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I.

Desirable

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, Mobile application Developer).
  • Demonstrated competency in other languages or development (XML, Flex, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services).
