Salesforce Developer

About the role

This role is within Chamberlain Group's IT Enterprise Applications function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Design, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality, within the Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment and (ii) Work with functional analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements; contribute to completion of functional specifications; create technical design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality, within the Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment
• Work with functional analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements; contribute to completion of functional specifications; create technical design specifications
• Create deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation
• Unit test application changes to ensure quality of work; analyze, debug, and resolve defects in applications
• Support production systems; proactively monitor systems to enable smooth operations; work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests
• Develop web applications and web services using Salesforce, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce or other web development technologies such as SOAP, REST, and XML
• Drive optimization of Chamberlain Group's Salesforce.com Cloud workflows and processes. Continually revise and streamline production processes to increase efficiencies and/or effectiveness

Requirements

• Education requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent; Salesforce Developer Certification/equivalent Salesforce Administrator experience
• Experience requirements include: 3+years experience as an application developer in a SFDC environment; 3+ years experience with SFDC development using: Flows, LWCs, Visual Workflows, Visual Force Pages/Components, Salesforce Data Loader, Apex (Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Apex Data Loader); Salesforce Lightning; Experience Builder; HTML/CSS/JavaScript; JAVA

Qualifications

• Good project management skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience working with technology integrators, IT resources

Skills

• Strong technical understanding of SFDC development tools and technologies including LWCs, Visual Workflows, Visual Force Pages/Components, Salesforce Data Loader, Apex (Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Apex Data Loader); Salesforce Lightning; Experience Builder; HTML/CSS/Javascript; JAVAStrong skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution
• Working knowledge of Agile software development processes and how to take a solution from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment.Solid requirements analysis skills and ability to identify alternatives for solutions to business problems. Solid data analysis skills and ability to translate business reporting needs into specific data requirements.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders; collaborate effectively.Ability to estimate work efforts consistently and accurately; manages own time to meet estimates and project deadlines

Pay

The pay range for this position is $76,600.00 - $144,700.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
