About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Global Sales Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing custom Salesforce solutions that support our SaaS-based EdTech business. Your expertise will be critical in translating complex business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions across Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, administrators, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative Salesforce functionalities that drive operational efficiency and support our strategic growth initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the technological backbone of our organization while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability requirements.
• Translate complex business and functional requirements into technical solutions that enhance platform capabilities.
• Lead technical design discussions for platform enhancements, defect resolutions, and new feature implementations across Salesforce modules including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ.
• Build reusable, well-documented code and components to support long-term platform supportability and scalability.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce platform elements such as objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and approval processes.
• Support ongoing optimization efforts to improve user experience, performance, and adoption rates.
• Partner with Salesforce administrators and business stakeholders to ensure configuration changes adhere to governance standards and minimize downstream impacts.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, data synchronization errors, and system exceptions.
• Assist with data migration, data cleansing, and data transformation activities to ensure data integrity across systems.
• Manage Salesforce security settings, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchies, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Support governance processes related to change management, release readiness, and technical documentation.
• Identify technical debt and risk areas, providing recommendations for platform improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and support automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality releases.
• Utilize DevOps tools for continuous integration and deployment, supporting sandbox strategies, release cycles, and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system design, configurations, and support procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators.
• Contribute to process improvements, development standards, and overall system usability.
• Support additional platform initiatives, integrations, and cross-team projects as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 4-7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience is required, with proven expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce platform best practices. Candidates should have demonstrated success in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs. Experience supporting Salesforce across key platform capabilities such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ is essential. A strong understanding of Salesforce integrations, data models, security configurations, and deployment processes is necessary. Additionally, familiarity with DevOps tools like Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or similar is preferred. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, Administrator, and other relevant credentials are highly desirable and will strengthen candidacy.
