Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Technical Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical design and architecture for Salesforce Consumer goods cloud implementation. Your role will partner closely with the Program Manager and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Program Manager and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead the technical design and architecture for Salesforce Consumer goods cloud implementation.
• Design complex, global solutions for the Consumer Goods cloud project.
• Define data models, sharing models, and territory/route hierarchies at enterprise scale.
• Lead technical design reviews, governance, and architecture decision records.
• Provide client-facing experience as lead architect on at least one full CG Cloud implementation.

Requirements

• 10+ years Salesforce architecture experience, with 2+ years on Consumer Goods Cloud Retail Execution.
• Hands-on design experience with Visit Planning, Visit Execution, In-Store Tasks, Surveys, Assessments, and Retail Store objects.
• Deep knowledge of CG Cloud offline mobile architecture, sync conflict resolution, and performance tuning for field users.
• Proven integration architecture across SAP S/4 or ECC, Salesforce Order Management, and Data Cloud.
• Strong background leading technical design reviews, governance, and architecture decision records.
• Proven track record in designing complex, global solutions for the Consumer Goods cloud project.

Qualifications

• Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional credential.
• Working knowledge of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and Retail Execution.
• Familiarity with Einstein for CG, Data Cloud activation, and CRMA for field analytics.
• Experience with Salesforce Industries (Omni Studio) or prior Vlocity background.

Skills

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,882 - $193,440.

This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, New York & San Francisco.
