Essential Functions
- Help customers locate merchandise and inform them of any product knowledge that may be helpful.
- Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
- Operate handheld Telxon and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Remove damaged merchandise from the floor as needed.
- Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
- Absorb and communicate special order requests and sales.
- Attend store and job-related meetings and complete required in-store trainings.
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and all employees.
- Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Absorb and ensure a clean work area with sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
- Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry-outs on an as-needed basis.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (No Exceptions).
- Able to operate pallet jacks, tow motors, or learn to do so.
- Weightlifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
- Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complete special projects as directed by management.
Minimum Requirements of Training and Experience
- Minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
- Must possess great customer service and communication skills.
