About the role
Sell and service a variety of insurance products, meet sales and retention goals, and align with organizational objectives. Consult with clients, prospect new customers, and promote GFB and GFBMIC through local activities. Engage in continuous learning and foster strong community relationships.
Responsibilities
- Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental
- Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans
- Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
- Possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and pass the Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams
- Proactively engage in community networking and local advertising
- Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions
- Participate in continuous professional development and product training
- Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some college education preferred
- A valid Georgia driver’s license
- Passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow
