Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance offers insurance tailored to support Georgia's agriculture industry and communities. As a full-time, commission-based employee, you will:

  • Sell and service a variety of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental.
  • Meet quarterly sales and retention goals.
  • Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans.
  • Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Be self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow.

About the role

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is dedicated to promoting Georgia farmland and supporting the agriculture industry. With over 160 offices statewide, you'll be close to experienced agents who care about your community's future.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
  • Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
  • Promote Georgia Farm Bureau and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement.
  • Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and product training.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • A valid Georgia driver’s license.
  • Passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
  • Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
